Job SummaryCollects and maintains physiological and anatomical data on trauma patients admitted to the hospital.Job DutiesAbstracts data from the medical record according to the requirements of the Pennsylvania Trauma Systems Foundation including demographic characteristics, prehospital information, initial hospital treatment, operating room usage, outcome and final disposition.Maintains Trauma data using the Collector System.Prepares monthly report for Trauma Center Committee and attends committee meetings on an alternating basis.Maintains confidentiality and security of patient data stored in the trauma registry files.Performs quality reviews on an alternating basis.Assists with updating of procedures on yearly ba
