SUMMARY
Provides moderately complex data governance analysis and data catalog maintenance. Develops data and metric definitions in collaboration with business and analytics data stewards. Performs process and workflow documentation and improvement with appropriate monitoring and benchmark reporting.
WHAT IS EXPECTED (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)
Monitor and manage work queues containing data related issues and stewardship activities
Develop process and procedure documentation in support of Data Governance initiatives
Create and maintain training materials for data governance tools & processes
Facilitate program meetings, workstream meetings, stewardship forums, and various work sessions.
Drive the definition of enterprise metadata requirements, standards, and processes
Facilitate the capture, publishing, and maintenance of business, technical, and operational metadata
Develop and deploy innovative approaches to improving the organization’s data literacy
Design and implement inventories for data sources, system interfaces
Work with data domain stewards to capture and certify metadata, definitions, and business processes
Publish domain metadata scorecards
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Strong analytic skills, data manipulation, and troubleshooting.
Strong process and workflow evaluation and improvement skills.
Strong Verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of cross-functional teams.
Strong development skills in the use of enterprise analytical and Bl tools, such as Cognos, Tableau, QIickView, Excel PowerPivot, etc.
Ability to design, develop and implement systems necessary to collect, maintain, and analyze data.
Ability to develop data analytics and Bl applications in a clear and understandable manner meeting user requirements.
Working knowledge of SQL, relational and non-relational databases, database structures, unstructured databases
Strong understanding of metadata frameworks including business, technical, and operational metadata.
Working knowledge of metadata tools such as Collibra, Alation, Informatica Catalog.
Advanced knowledge of Healthcare data and operational processes.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Clinical area, Computer Science, Business, other similar degree or equivalent experience required.
