The role you’ll contribute:
The Guest Liaison is responsible for providing excellent customer service in the main lobby of the hospital and throughout the entire patient experience.
The value you’ll bring to the team:
- Project a positive and helpful demeanor while working with patients, visitors and staff.
- Uses hospital medical record computer system to access patient information.
- Responsible for relaying accurate information to patients, visitors and staff.
- Responsible for maintaining a welcoming environment in the Atrium entrance and waiting areas.
- Display excellent communication skills – facilitate communication between visitors and health care staff.
- Act as patient advocate, proactively greeting visitors upon entrance to Atrium.
- Assist visitors, patients and staff when needed upon entering or leaving the building.
- Communicate concerns to Supervisor and/or Director.
- May be required to run reports and/or create spreadsheets.
- Provide cross-coverage for other Guest Liaisons/Patient Ambassador as needed/requested.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- High school Diploma or GED is required.
- Additional studies in healthcare administration, marketing or communications preferred or equivalent experience in customer service is also desirable.
- Three years customer service experience required, preferably in healthcare.
