The role you’ll contribute:
The Manager of Clinical Documentation Integrity (CDI) leads and coordinates the CDI program across AH to ensure the clinical documentation completely and accurately reflects the patient's condition and care delivered. The Manager of CDI supports the Performance Goals of the CDI program while managing projects involving business, staffing, finance and operational efficiency of the CDI department. The Manager of CDI will provide consultative services to all AdventHealth CDI staff, clinicians, facility administrative leaders as well as facility executive leaders with the goal of improving CDI program at their respective facilities. The Manager of CDI is expected to research and develop solutions for identified CDI operational deficiencies, develop, and execute through leadership the educational plans. The Operations Manager of CDI will be accountable for specific process implementation projects and will be expected to develop and provide leadership on other projects as required.
The value that you bring to the team:
·Collaborate with AdventHealth Clinical CDI Team and other Corporate assets to develop and implement projects at system and/or facility level that improve performance of CDI programs and leads to complete and accurate documentation.
·Build partnerships with facility CDI groups to implement education and/or process changes.
·Assist Director of CDI, in collaboration with other AdventHealth assets to develop an AdventHealth CDI Best Practice Model.
·Coordinate operations of AdventHealth Clinical CDI team with other AdventHealth Clinical departments as required.
·Assist Director of CDI in analysis and evaluation of Facility CDI operations, finance and implementation of recommend changes required to improve performance.
·Develop and manage CDI communications with the CDI educator and CDI Clinical Documentation Specialist (CDS).
·Lead and collaborate with CDI Analyst, CDI specialist and CDI implementation specialist in executing AdventHealth CDI Initiatives.
·Understand CDI outcomes and operational metrics.
·Operationalize use of analytics and leverage of data to affect performance improvement.
·Develop professional presentations for teaching or communicating to CDI leaders in conjunction with CDI Director.
·Develop, lead and manage AdventHealth CDI or related projects as may be required in cooperation with the Director of CDI.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
·Monitor and manage the daily responsibilities of the CDI System Quality & Compliance Team Leader and System CDI Educator and Implementation Specialist
·Manage daily operations for system Clinical Documentation Integrity teams.
·Collaborate and strategize with market CDI leaders to build a best practice CDI program.
·Delegate project responsibilities and roles within the team
Qualifications

Minimum qualifications:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
·Bachelor’s degree or above
·3+ years CDI experience
·3+ years leadership experience
·5+ years healthcare clinical experience, strong clinical background required
