This is a technical position functioning independently with limited supervision. Work situations require extensive knowledge and the application of advanced expertise in the field of sleep disorders, and sound clinical judgments, actions, and decision making regarding unusual patient behavior, i.e. seizure activity, life threatening cardiac and respiratory abnormalities.Minimum Requirements:One year polysomnographic technology experience preferred.Education/Licenses/Certifications: -Certified by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists as a Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT) -Current cardiopulmonary resuscitation certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) HealthCare Provider-One year experience in polysomnographic technology post registration is preferred-Certification in CSE, and/or CCSH preferred-Experience with HST and initiating patient education preferred
