The role you’ll contribute:
The Manager of CMMS Operations is responsible for leading a team with expertise in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) supporting AdventHealth Orlando hospitals and their associated outbuildings. Support is provided to Support Services, Centra Care, Asset Management, Facilities Engineering, Clinical Engineering, Office of Design and Construction, Fire Systems, HVAC Control Systems, Security Technology, Laundry, Nutritional Services, Property Management, Key Shop and Fleet departments in addition to other System administrative users of CMMS. This position also interfaces with Corporate CMMS resources, AIT, outside consultants and vendors and other stakeholders either managing or using CMMS. This position develops strategic direction and policy for AdventHealth Orlando related to CMMS. Because of the scale of AdventHealth Orlando, this position also influences CMMS activities in CFD North, Polk County, and sometimes on the national level. This role interacts and collaborates with all levels of management in the use and improvement of CMMS. The position also contributes to regulatory compliance by supporting hospital directors with reports, documentation and audits of regulatory compliance. The position also prepares budgets for the department. The Manager of CMMS Operations provides coaching and mentoring for the development of employees to prepare them for future leadership roles and to provide support to the support areas to assist with problem resolution and determining appropriate strategic CMMS direction. Actively participates in outstanding customer service and accepts responsibility in maintaining relationships that are equally respectful to all.

•Consistently communicate with staff and other stakeholders, the mission, and business objectives of AdventHealth. •Coordinate the strategic initiatives and alignment of objectives of AdventHealth and Central Florida Division and ensure success of such. •Directs the development and communication of actionable information at all levels of the organization including strategies with management. •Ensure assets are properly entered into CMMS. •Work with Directors to build appropriate Preventive Maintenance (PM) for assets. •Provide Directors and other CMMS stakeholders with reports and data that enable them to achieve regulatory compliance and efficient operations. •Provide System senior leadership with the necessary data and statistics to help understand supply cost department productivity. •Drives process improvement strategies related to CMMS in coordination with operational owners. •Provides subject matter expertise and content for training, mentoring and coaching staff to prepare them to be future leaders. • Effectively manages and communicates all aspects of projects in conjunction with department leadership and assists with project plan modifications when needed. Serves as liaison to enhance understanding which results in better-informed decisions. •Utilizes communication, influence, and presentation skills effectively both internally and externally in explaining CMMS related information. •Leads effective teams of professionals and ensures projects are completed on time by assisting staff in the project plan development, implementation, review, and completion. •Plan and implement operational improvements and supply chain initiatives annually and long-term that will lead to the lowest landed cost of products that may be achieved •Provide CMMS training to new hires and all other stakeholders requiring skills enhancement. •Performs other duties/project as assigned or directed to ensure the smooth operation of the department •Provide CMMS reports important to hospital department regulatory compliance. •Audit department documentation for compliance and conformance to System standards •Participate in DNV regulatory surveys as they relate to CMMS. •Manage direct reports and budget to achieve budget. •Develop plans for growth, as needed, based on the growth of the scope of work. •Provides CMMS oversight for System, hospital department, Corporate and other CMMS stakeholders for short-term as well as long-term strategies to align with overall hospital direction aiming on standardization, productivity, and eliminating waste. •Identifies and deploys process improvement projects/conversions that align with System, Facility as well as corporate priorities. This includes cost reduction and utilization initiatives that remain compliant with regulatory requirements. •Oversees overall staffing for assigned area. Ensures staffing is effective and efficient and promotes core values. Assures that staff is representative of the population diversity through oversight of recruitment, selection and retention of personnel. Ensures that staff are actively engaged in decisions within their scope of practice. •Ensures appropriate orientation for new staff and appropriate methodologies for ongoing competency assessment of staff. Monitors and ensures timely completion of performance evaluations, sets goals, and provides feedback and counseling to employees. Rounds with employees on a regular basis, engaging staff and leading on maintaining environment of safety.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
•Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related field •Two years of project management experience •Two years leading teams
