Shift: Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm (must be flexible will help out with night shift as needed)

The role you'll contribute:
Responsible for assessing, planning, and providing educational opportunities and activities for nursing staff on the nursing units. This position collaborates with charge nurses and directors to plan the orientation of new nurses. Additionally, this role coordinates students as assigned. In addition, this position assists in coordinating and planning activities related to nursing practice. Additionally, this role serves as a CNE nurse planner.

- Assists with preceptor training, policy development, and budget planning.
- Collaborates with nursing units' professional governance councils to identify needs and guide projects.
- Guides and mentors nursing staff.
- Facilitates and coordinates continuing education opportunities for nursing employees.
The expertise and experience you'll need to succeed:
Minimum qualifications :
- Bachelor's of Nursing Required
- 3 Work Experience Required
- Registered Nurse (RN) Current licensure in the state of Texas as a registered nurse. Required
Preferred qualifications:
- Master's of Nursing Preferred
