The Department of Surgery, Division of Vascular and Endovascular Surgery at the University of California, San Francisco, is seeking outstanding candidates for a full-time, academic surgeon to provide clinical care and to develop a productive research program. Candidates must be board-certified or board-eligible in Vascular Surgery by the time of hire. Applicants must have completed an accredited vascular surgery fellowship or integrated residency program by the time of hire. Candidates must be well-trained in both open and endovascular interventions. Applicants' materials must list current, eligible, and/or pending qualifications upon submission. Adequate protected time and support will be provided for the development of an independently funded research program, dependent on the candidate's specific goals and qualifications.
Candidates must have recognized skills in the education of surgery residents and medical students and will be expected to be active participants in the Department's undergraduate and graduate level educational programs, including providing scheduled lectures as part of the division's didactic educational programs.
